
Created in 1999, the Jean Delay Prize is the most prestigious award of the World Psychiatric Association (WPA).
The Jean Delay Prize is supported by Servier and is awarded every 3 years to any individual who has made a major contribution in the field of clinical, biological, and social aspects of psychiatry, or who has built bridges between these domains.
The prize consists of a grant of 40 000 euros, a diploma and a medal. The recipient delivers a plenary lecture at the World Congress of Psychiatry.
The jury is composed of international experts including the President of the WPA.
